Laundry Services for the Homeless

When people think of the homeless they usually ponder food and shelter issues, but what about laundry?  Living outdoors means that hygiene and clean clothes are always in short supply as are the means to achieve them.

In the Port Townsend area there IS an option.  Listeners to Radio of Hope can contribute to the "Laundry Fund" for targeted gift cards at a local laundry.  Donations to the "Laundry Fund", like all gifts to this 501(c)3 organization, are tax deductible.

For safe keeping, targeted vouchers are only redeemable for laundry services at a specified location.  To help make these necessary services available, for those who cannot otherwise obtain them,  please donate here and mark your gift "laundry".
