Listeners to Radio of Hope recognize that quality music is treated as seriously as quality teaching.

Taking great steps to ensure that music heard on Radio of Hope is “The Best of the Best,” and doing so in a consistent way, takes a lot of effort!

We regularly comb through hundreds of musical selections, separating the wheat from the chaff so to speak, for our listening family.  CDs and mp3                        downloads are typical forms in our day, but not the only ones.

A large portion of new entries to our music library originates from used, vinyl LPs because their low  commercial value does not make them candidates for re-release as CDs or mp3s.

Entering this music into the computer world for your regular listening pleasure takes time, which we are happy to accomplish, but there is a problem.

We currently have 2,500+ LP discs awaiting processing.  Some LPs come to us so worn that the quality is too poor to even process with noise-reduction                  software. This is especially true of some great old Christian standards or classic Christian music.  Physical damage and general wear and tear make the                        regular grooves really awful!  Fortunately, there is an exciting solution!

A Japanese manufacturer of electronics (ELP Corporation Japan) markets a laser turntable that can read        vinyl LPs, in areas where a needle has never been, rescuing sound quality otherwise lost forever to ordinary playback means!

When we learned of the opportunity, Radio of Hope entered and was chosen in a random industry drawing to purchase one of these rare laser turntables                            at half price!

Please pray about this issue, and if you would like to help us rescue God-honoring music, please visit our donation page and submit your gift with the code                LASER.

Our goal, encompassing cost, tax and shipping, is a little over $6,000.00 or nearly half-price of a new unit!  Progress will be presented below.

Our current fund-raising level is $0,000.00
